Leidos Corporate Earned Value Management (EVM) Center of Excellence (COE) is seeking a Sr. Program Scheduler to support our Chief Information Office (CIO) Services team within our Digital Modernization Sector. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of creating and maintaining a resource loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) schedule to provide the basis for the time phased budget and estimate to complete cost data for the CIO Project Management Office (PMO) program and project portfolio. You will construct and maintain the MS Project Online plan daily, run reports, and generate various views. You are expected to have in depth IMS Project Online skills and comfortable to facilitate meetings and work one-on-one to ascertain project activities, resources, requirements, predecessors, successors, impacts, milestones, etc.

This role reports through the Sector Scheduling Manager in the larger enterprise-wide Leidos Corporate Earned Value Management (EVM) Center of Excellence (COE). The Leidos Corporate EVM COE is a team leading and executing the core responsibilities of scheduling, planning, EVMS, the associated infrastructure and tools, implementations, training and surveillance for Leidos. This role will matrix report to the CIO IT Project Lifecycle Development & Operations Sr. Manager and support the CIOS PMO program and project portfolio.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for applying scheduling theory to develop and maintain a resource loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) schedule using best practices as in the Planning and Scheduling Excellence Guide (PASEG).
  • Implement program scheduling business rhythms, developing baseline schedules and associated artifacts to meet contractual/project requirements, and monitoring, analyzing, and reporting performance against baseline schedules to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule.
  • Strong communications skills with the ability to work with the functional areas to identify and maintain all schedule tasks and dependencies.
  • In conjunction with the Project Manager, and with input from the cross-functional team, generate, publish and maintain an accurate a Master Schedule, using MS Project Online and Project Web App (PWA), showing the tasks and resources required to deliver on-time, per customer requirements and milestones.
  • Lead monthly schedule update meetings with the Project Managers, to review and update Estimate to Complete (ETC) labor hours.
  • Lead regular schedule reviews of the portfolio with the PMO team.
  • Work closely with multiple industry and government performers to develop detailed schedules, keep these schedules current and seamlessly integrated into the Master Schedule.
  • Develop and maintain linkages, dependencies and inter-dependencies with related projects.
  • Ensure internal and external dependencies are documented and tracked for risk management.
  • Identify and generate a portfolio report of major milestones, decision points, project life-cycle and other project events
  • Perform resource leveling across the portfolio.
  • Identify critical path and task dependencies.
  • Set and maintain the baseline schedule.
  • Perform ‘what if’ scenarios within the schedule.
  • Develop schedule version control processes.
  • Generate schedule reports based on planned vs actual dates.

Basic Qualifications:

  • US citizenship is required and must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of program scheduling related experience.
  • Advanced expertise using Microsoft Project Online and Project Web App is required.
  • Experience managing baseline change and analysis.
  • Experience presenting schedule data to leadership.
  • Strong working knowledge of scheduling theory and related best-practices (e.g., PASEG), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) architecture (e.g., WBS or IMP based)
  • Proven working knowledge of Critical Path
  • Baseline Change Control and IMS configuration management.
  • Ability to work independently with overall responsibility for the Master Schedule
  • Proven ability to work well within a team/collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional experience with SRAs/Monte Carlo Analysis
  • Experience using tools like Structured Solutions Inc. (SSI) Tools for Microsoft Project, and Monte Carlo Analysis tools.
  • Advanced Excel skill set including Power BI, pivot tables, macros, lookup tables
  • Experience with Scheduling for Agile and linking Microsoft Project Online and Jira.
  • Experience with EVM/EVM Lite.
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Scheduling Professional (SP) certification

Pay Range:Pay Range $80,600.00 - $145,700.00
