Job Description

The Risk and Identity Solutions (RaIS) Program Management Office delivers and accelerates the seamless delivery of our RaIS products into markets. We are at the core of Visa’s and RaIS’s overall vision to be the best way to pay and be paid for everyone, everywhere. We are fueled by a diverse team of talented team-members who continuously raise the bar on delivering best-in-class products and services to people all over the world.

The Program Management Office team for RaIS is accountable for successful product delivery and commercial launches in close collaboration with our Product teams, Technology teams and major ecosystem partners. We are seeking a Sr. Program Manager with 8-10 years of experience to join our US-based team to support the launch and commercialization of new products.

Responsibilities

How you will make an impact

  • You will execute and deliver projects through completion for RaIS’s most important Product-led initiatives

  • You will play a central role providing structure throughout the full program lifecycle, enabling Product owners and stakeholders to succeed and meet their objectives

  • You will lead work streams consisting of many different functions driving multiple simultaneous efforts

  • You will work with variety of stakeholders to manage scope, secure support and resources for execution, and deploy processes that improve day-to-day operations

  • You will reconcile competing priorities, utilize synergies, align complementary initiatives, and build coalitions among cross-functional partners

  • You will work through challenges, identify bottlenecks and dependencies, and unblock the project team for execution

  • You will keep everyone informed by reporting on status, progress, milestones, deliverables, outcomes, and lessons learned to all applicable parties

  • You will act like an owner, holding yourself and the program team accountable for their commitments and meeting the objectives of the program

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
• You have 2-6 years of experience in a fast-paced environment navigating ambiguity successfully, most likely in product, product development, or large complex projects in a matrix organization
• You are self-motivated and highly driven. You have get-things-done DNA.
• You an agile advocate who knows how to bring new ways of working to an organization in transformation
• You are always learning and comfortable with constant change
• You bring an entrepreneurial mindset to your program management approach ... you see needs and fill them
• You are an excellent problem-solver and critical-thinker with the ability to identify and remove barriers and enable teams to complete their objectives
• You are detail oriented and proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives with overlapping timelines and deliverables
• You are a great listener and can communicate clearly with many types of people
• You put a premium on strong working relationships and know how to use diplomacy to get things done
• You have great judgement and show grace under pressure.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 119,700.00 to 173,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
