This role as a Sr. Product Manager is responsible for helping our financial institution customers mitigate fraud inside the digital banking channel. The role is responsible for planning, development, and management of the roadmap in support of our industry-changing fraudtech and orchestration platform.
The Job At-A-Glance:

  • In this position you will be responsible for understanding the needs of financial institutions as it relates to fraudtech, digital security, and other fraud-fighting tactics. You will work with multiple engineering, hosting, information security, and cybersecurity teams to create features and functionality that deliver best-in-class fraud-fighting tools, processes and tactics.
  • You'll meet directly with customers, software engineers, and sales and success leadership to ensure we are prioritizing the most extensible and innovative initiatives for our business.
  • You will use your expert knowledge of fraud & security, the financial industry, and our business to improve our products and services.
  • You will collaborate with others in the organization to create and defend a strategy and roadmap for the fraud domain strategy at large.
  • You will know how to determine what success looks like for a project and be able to tie it back to Q2's and our customers' goals.
  • You will be empowered to listen to our clients' needs and act on them.
  • You'll partner closely with engineering to understand technical trade-offs. You'll partner closely with UX to understand user trade-offs.
  • You'll proactively identify patterns/trends/opportunities as it relates to the fraud domain.
  • You'll be expected to perform research, communicate value and vision, and track the success of your initiatives.


What People Say About You:

  • As it relates to Fraud & Security in the financial sector, you understand the cross-section of behavioral insights and leading-edge fraud mitigation, as well as how various signals and data can be orchestrated for interdiction purposes.
  • You are well versed in financial sector and fintech solutions related to anti-phishing techniques and integrating multi-factor risk modeling from leading providers while working with internal, matrixed teams to identify new opportunities.
  • You are passionate about both user experience and time to market while balancing effort.
  • You develop sound business cases informed by market and customer research and drive for increasing platform value with the right partners.
  • You possess experience in Product Management related to enterprise software development best practices.

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a minimum of 12 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 5+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.
  • 7 + years of relevant SaaS or Financial Services experience relating to Fraud & Security in the financial sector, Product Management, Product Marketing, Product Ownership, or Software Engineering is preferred
  • A desire to lead as a senior member of the team
  • Understanding of the SDLC process and the ability to work in an agile environment with bi-weekly releases
  • Experience working with Jira, Aha, Confluence, Excel and PowerPoint
