About the Team

Workday is the leading enterprise-class software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for Human Capital Management and Financial Management solutions for managing global businesses.
The Partner Services Executive team is part of Workday’s Global Partners Organization (GPO) and plays a critical role in supporting our certified Workday Partners during sales pursuits. Presently the Partner Services Executive team is focused on the rapidly growing Emerging Enterprise segment of our Medium Enterprise business. The Partner Services Executive team actively supports our partners and subscription sales team by differentiating Workday’s life-cycle approach and methodology, and ensuring that our customers are set up to be successful in their deployment projects and meet their business objectives. Our aim is to be trusted advisors to our prospects, customers, and partners, focusing on Workday’s core values of Customer Service and Integrity, and protecting Workday’s consistent track record of long-term customer success.

About the Role

We’re looking for candidates who are passionate about:

  • Working as part of a team supporting Emerging Enterprise sales cycles  

  • Engaging with customers, partners, solution consultants and account executives to validate deployment strategies and plans are appropriate for customer requirements

  • Ensuring that partners are leveraging best practices when developing customer proposals and contracts

  • Working with partner sellers to hone their Workday solutioning and selling skills

  • Advocating on behalf of partners across Workday Global Services and Sales.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years' experience as a people leader

  • 4+ years' experience leading HCM, Financial or ERP implementation projects   

  • 3+ years' experience in Professional Services sales, preferably in ERP focused on SMB organizations

  • 2+ years' experience selling Workday related deployment services, preferably focused on SMB organizations

Other Qualifications:

  • Consistent track record in a high-volume/fast-paced environment with a track record of successful services booking, revenue and/or profitability attainment preferred.

  • Excels at management of time and resources to support sales cycles

  • Ability to work independently supporting selected account and partner teams

  • Executive level presentation skills while participating in a fast-paced, sophisticated product and services sales cycle.

  • Understand and effectively explain the benefits of a SaaS architecture.

  • Ability to describe and explain financial business process flows and understand critical elements to optimization.

  • Proven understanding of vendors, products, and services in the SMB market.

  • Attention to detail and experience with commercial processes and tools, including RFP responses, project calculation and/or estimation tools, and scope description and/or contract documentation

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Ability to travel up to 35%

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
