Your Role
The world of real-time communications is a particularly challenging space. Dialpad is looking for talented DSP engineers who enjoy building high-performance signal processing and AI-based solutions at the forefront of our industry. We are less concerned with years in industry or particular technologies and more interested in knowledge, passion, and perseverance.
We need engineers who solve complex business problems in a fast-paced startup, and use their autonomy to drive innovation. We need leaders who are passionate about the quality and efficiency of a service used by millions of daily users. We need pioneers dedicated to finding new solutions and ways of making existing ones even better.
What you’ll do
- Develop cutting edge signal processing algorithms to enhance the quality of every Dialpad call and meeting.
- Understand and improve our current voice enhancement system.
- Research, code, test, document and deploy production grade DSP modules in C/C++.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to integrate solutions into browsers, client and server applications and test tools.
- Drive the technical roadmap with the latest industry best practices and your own innovative ideas.
- Be at the forefront of Dialpad’s venture into real-time AI audio/video enhancement.
Skills you’ll bring
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- Strong grasp of signal processing fundamentals pertaining to digital audio.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques for audio enhancement.
- Experience coding and debugging in C/C++ and Python.
- Track record of delivering production-grade algorithms and implementations.
