What is The Role
Elastic is looking for a flexible and adaptable person with the ability to manage a variety of different marketing operations tasks and responsibilities. This is an ideal position for a self-motivated individual who has marketing automation experience, is process oriented, has the proficiency and desire to gain experience with Marketing Technology tools and processes, and has the ability to work in a fast-paced, distributed environment.
What You Will Be Doing
- Handle daily marketing automation activities and track progress of operational requests coming from the marketing team
- Implement and develop Marketo campaigns that support each business line’s demand generation strategy and ensure proper lead flow
- Become a key resource for partners as it relates to event related MarTech applications (CVent, Splash, JiffleNow, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders at once
- Project manage new initiatives or updates to current processes to include tracking project progress against milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies
- Communicate project status and keep direct and indirect stakeholders adequately informed and engaged
- Assist in the distribution of internal communication vehicles, including updating and maintaining Monday boards, Wiki, MADS Hub, and Marketing Playbook
What You Will Bring
- Proven marketing automation experience (2+ yrs)
- 2 or more years experience with Marketo
- Excellent time management
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent collaboration and consensus-building skills
- Proficient in Google suite of products
- Comfortable with learning new tools and willingness to develop new skills
- Writes effectively using various styles to address different needs and audiences
- Enthusiastic team player with the ability to develop and maintain strong rapport with key stakeholders
- Familiar with basic marketing concepts (campaigns, leads)
- Experience working with remote and global teams and in a matrix organization
Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component.
The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below.
These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.
An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program. Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.

$89,100—$140,900 USD
The typical starting salary range for this role in the select locations listed above is:
$106,800—$168,900 USD
