Role Overview

As a Solutions Engineer at Optimal Dynamics, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful deployment of our cutting-edge decision-making platform within the logistics and transportation industry. You will lead complex, high-impact solution implementations that align closely with our customers’ strategic goals and business objectives. Your expertise in workflow design, optimization model calibration, systems integration, and user training will be essential in ensuring a seamless transition from project initiation to go-live, enabling our customers to realize the full value of our innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Complex Solution Deployments: Lead the end-to-end deployment of Optimal Dynamics’ platform, managing the entire implementation lifecycle from initial scoping and design to post-deployment support. Collaborate with customers to understand their unique requirements and objectives, ensuring that solutions are tailored to meet specific business needs.
  2. Platform Configuration and Integration: Oversee the configuration of the Optimal Dynamics platform, ensuring that all functionalities align with customer workflows and operational strategies. Manage system integration efforts, working closely with IT teams and third-party vendors to ensure seamless data flow between systems and applications.
  3. Testing and Calibration: Conduct comprehensive end-to-end (E2E) testing to validate solution performance, ensuring that all components function as intended and meet customer specifications. Lead model calibration efforts to optimize performance and accuracy, leveraging advanced analytics and data insights to fine-tune the solution. 
  4. User Training and Support: Develop and deliver tailored training programs for end-users, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively utilize the platform. Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions, guiding users through the testing process and gathering feedback to refine and enhance the solution.
  5. Hyper-Care Support: Provide immediate support during the hyper-care phase following deployment, addressing any urgent issues that arise and ensuring stable operations. Collaborate with customers to develop and implement action plans for any post-deployment challenges, ensuring a smooth transition to ongoing operations.
  6. Continuous Improvement and Optimization: Analyze deployment outcomes and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement, driving enhancements to the implementation process and overall customer experience. Work closely with product development teams to relay customer insights and inform future product features and enhancements.
  7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the deployment process. Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, advocating for customer needs and facilitating solution improvements.
  8. Travel requirements: On-site travel might be required during kickoff, design sessions, UAT, and go-live during the deployment phases of assigned projects. Travel up to 50% of the time

Education and/or Relevant Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering or Logistics;
  • 3+ years of experience in asset-based carrier operations, logistics, or FreightTech deployment, including consulting and implementation.
  • Experience working with Sr Level IT and Operations personalities
  • Detail oriented and demonstrated ability to run multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Strong oral & written communication skills with advanced presentation abilities.
  • Strong ability to quickly build trust with different levels of management.
  • High level of initiative and hustle.
  • Able to work independently, as the role will not be based out of an office.

Pay Range

$130,000$160,000 USD
