About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Principal Solution Architect to lead our presales initiatives alongside our Field CTO. In this strategic role, you'll engage with customer executive teams and IT leaders to help inspire digital ambition, and create alignment by uncovering and articulating compelling cases for action that are grounded in business value. You’ll work closely with account teams and solution consultants to architect compelling technical solutions, drive digital transformation initiatives, and create scalable playbooks for integration, API, and AI/digital products. You'll be instrumental in designing customer-centric solutions that maximize platform value while building deep customer relationships.
What You'll DoSolution Architecture & Technical Leadership
- Lead complex technical discovery sessions and solution architecture planning
- Collaborate with account teams to design and deliver compelling proof-of-concepts and architectural solutions aligned with client business objectives
- Partner with Field CTO to develop comprehensive presales methodologies and technical playbooks
Presales Strategy & Customer Success
- Drive strategic technical evaluations focused on proving business value and technical fit
- Create solution architecture best practices and technical evaluation frameworks
- Guide key accounts through their technical evaluation and solution design process
Digital Transformation Leadership
- Identify innovation opportunities and architect cutting-edge technical solutions
- Conduct executive-level technical workshops and architecture sessions
- Stay current with industry trends, cloud technologies, and integration advancements
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Serve as technical liaison between sales, product, marketing, and customer success teams
- Influence platform roadmap based on market demands and technical requirements
- Lead development of technical enablement resources and architecture patterns
Operating Model and Technical Playbook Development
- Collaborate with Field CTO, and other cross-functional teams to
- Build and implement comprehensive solution architecture and technical evaluation playbooks
- Formalize architectural patterns and best practices for enterprise-scale implementations
- Create structured technical resources to support successful customer evaluations
- Articulate and establish a formal operating model for work entry, value tracing, initiative progress
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- 10+ years of solution architecture or technical sales experience
- 5+ years of technical leadership experience, preferably in SaaS or digital transformation
- Proven track record designing and implementing enterprise-level technical solutions
- Strong executive presence and ability to communicate complex technical concepts
- Excellence in cross-functional leadership and technical strategy
- Outstanding analytical skills with experience developing scalable architectures
What Sets You Apart
- Deep expertise in API integration, iPaaS platforms, automation platforms, data management platforms and digital transformation architectures
- Track record of successful complex technical evaluations
- Ability to translate technical solutions into business value for executive audiences
- History of influencing product strategy and technical direction
Compensation:
Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The On Target Earnings (OTE) for this role are $179K - $224K (inclusive of commission).
