Software Engineer III

We are seeking a skilled SSIS and SSRS Developer to design, develop, and maintain ETL processes and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), with a strong background in SQL development, data warehousing, and business intelligence. The role involves working with large datasets, optimizing ETL workflows, and developing insightful reports to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using SSIS.
  • Create data extraction, transformation, and loading workflows from various data sources, including databases, APIs, and flat files.
  • Optimize ETL performance, troubleshoot failures, and implement error-handling mechanisms.
  • Develop SSIS packages for data migration, integration, and transformation.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems.

SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) Responsibilities:

  • Develop custom reports, dashboards, and visualizations using SSRS.
  • Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support reporting needs.
  • Maintain and enhance existing SSRS reports for performance and usability.
  • Implement automated scheduling and delivery of reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in SSIS,SSRS  and C# development.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, and query optimization.
  • Experience working with ETL processes, data warehouses
  • Familiarity with data modeling, relational database design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with data modeling, star/snowflake schema, and relational database design.
  • Knowledge of how to create SSIS toolbox controls
  • Background in Supplemental, Life, Group Insurance is a plus.

$84,200.00 - $124,100.00  

Salary is commensurate to experience, location, etc.
