The company also does artificial beaches, urban lagoons, wave pools, surf parks, aquatics, sewage treatment, wastewater, and drinking water.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing social media content plans that are consistent with the company’s brand identity.
  • Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
  • Managing a high volume of daily social media posts.
  • Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
  • Developing and managing social influencer programs and attending social influencer events.
  • Using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, Meltwater, SEMRush, RiseKarma, etc to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance.
  • Fully developing a social media strategy, system, calendar, themes, campaigns, etc.
  • Preparing monthly reports on social media marketing efforts.
  • Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
  • Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
  • Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
  • Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML
  • Excellent social listening skills
  • Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
  • Strong copywriting and copy editing skills
  • Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Detail-oriented approach with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Drive innovative and ambitious media programs that deliver significant success and competitive advantage in terms of brand loyalty through highly engaging content
  • Partners with management, business units, and sales to understand outbound marketing and communication needs and objectives and proposes solutions that are appropriate for message and audience
  • Evolve and maintain rapid response processes and protocols across VVaters communications teams globally.
  • Monitor evolving issues and breaking news across the media landscape, providing proactive recommendations on communications approach for the business.
  • Supports team with writing, reviewing, and editing a variety of internal communications materials including blogs, digital signage, emails, conference collateral, and special events
  • Create compelling messaging and story angles to insert VVater into the current news cycle and social conversations
  • Other responsibilities as designated or communicated.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or comparable experience with another degree
  • 4 or more years of social media experience, including planning and managing content in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Advanced CRM system skills - Hubspot preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools a plus
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Proven relationships across North American social media and influencers
  • Translate complex technical and business issues into simplified messaging for press and external audiences
  • Deep knowledge of external issues and reputation management communications, response strategies and business continuity processes.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
  • Expert-level social media skills
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and content management systems
  • Voracious reader with a keen awareness of latest consumer/pop culture trends, along with industry and competitor day-to-day monitoring
  • Creative thinker and willingness to communicate ideas
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to produce accurate and high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Some travel is required for event production if needed.
