Fox Robotics is at the bleeding edge of warehouse automation, with a focus on autonomous forklifts. As the leader in this space, Fox has clear product market fit and is scaling fast, with plans to rapidly grow from 100 employees to nearly ~160+ this year alone. With this growth, employees have a once-in-a-career opportunity to learn, all while working as part of a mission-driven team focused on making robots that work.

Want to dive into all things web development and robots? This is the team! We build applications that control robots, display what they see in WebGL, and render the large amounts of data they produce into real time graphs.

What you’ll do:

  • Take high fidelity designs, align them to our component library, and evaluate them against functional requirements.
  • Take tasks as they are assigned and designed, and through discovery, implement the solution that's needed.
  • Build out those solutions while collaborating with cross functional teams, and keeping your team unblocked by completing the work in parallel.
  • Harden the functionality and quality of the solution via unit tests and UI tests.
  • Keep the team moving forward with the latest and greatest Typescript has to offer.

What you’ll need:

  • 5+ years of industry experience developing production software in Typescript
  • Strong technical and non-technical communication skills for collaborating effectively with remote employees as well as those in the office
  • A passion for sustainable development practices and leaving code in a better state than you found it
  • Experience in the following technologies:
    • Frontend:
        • Frameworks: Vite, React, Jotai, Nextjs, Material UI, Three.js, D3 and other charting libraries, CASL
        • Protocols: MQTT, REST, Websockets
        • Testing: Vitetest, React Testing Library
    • Backend:
        • Frameworks: Node, Express, Nestjs, Prisma, CASL
        • Protocols: MQTT, REST, Websockets
        • Databases: Mongo, Postgres, Big Query
        • Testing: Vitetest, Supertest
    • Tools:
        • VS Code/IntelliJ, Postman, Docker, GitLab, GCP, JIRA, JAMA, Figma

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Roles and Permissions for data and feature segmentation
  • Enough familiarity with Python to read it
  • Experience with graphic and animation libraries as well as OAuth
  • Experience with robotics, IoT environments, or Warehouse Management Systems

Benefits and perks:

  • A once in a career opportunity to build, alongside colleagues who deeply care (plus robots that aren’t bad, either!)
  • Competitive salary and stock options
  • Generous healthcare options
  • 401k match
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Other perks that connect us, including lunch on Fridays, team building activities, and more!

More About Fox Robotics We make robots that work.

We envision a world where robots serve as a human multiplier for dull and dangerous work. The warehousing industry sees more than 52,000 cases of injuries every year in the US. Our first product is an automated trailer unloader (forklift) that quickly demonstrates measurable value to our customers by both improving efficiency while also increasing safety.

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
