Our motto is "All Stripes Welcome," we put that into practice by valuing traditional and non-conventional backgrounds and perspectives. Our Zeebs are passionate about learning, growing, & working together to tackle exciting problems.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Specialist to develop compelling messaging and drive go-to-market strategies. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Marketing, you’ll work closely with product, marketing, and many of our other teams to build and execute processes for launching new features, ensuring alignment across teams, and crafting clear, persuasive messaging that resonates with our audience.

If you’re a strategic thinker with strong copywriting skills, love bringing structure to product launches, and thrive in cross-functional collaboration, this role is for you.

Location:

Our employees can choose to work remotely in the U.S. Join us in our Austin, Texas office, or opt for a hybrid setup. Whether you prefer the structure of an office, the convenience of remote work, or a mix of both, we support what works best for you!

Please note - At this time we are not able to hire in California, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and New York.

What You'll Do:

  • Own product launches – Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new features, ensuring a smooth launch process and consistent messaging across marketing channels.

  • Develop sales enablement content – Work closely with our advisors and agency teams to create scripts, sales collateral, and training materials that empower our sales teams to talk about The Zebra, our features, and our differentiators.

  • Craft compelling messaging – Translate complex product details into clear, engaging, and persuasive copy across marketing, product, and sales materials.

  • Establish a launch process – Build a structured, repeatable framework for how we roll out new features across internal and external channels, including press.

  • Be the liaison between teams – Act as the glue between product, sales, and marketing to ensure alignment on feature positioning and value propositions.

What We're Looking For:

As we evaluate candidates across all roles, we look for folks with a strong sense of ownership, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a dedication to continuous improvement.

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, content strategy, or a related field.

  • Exceptional copywriting skills – You can distill complex topics into engaging, persuasive messaging.

  • Experience with go-to-market planning, sales enablement, and product launches.

  • Ability to build structured processes for launching new features and aligning internal teams.

  • Strong collaboration skills – You thrive in cross-functional roles and can work seamlessly with sales, agency, marketing, and product teams.

  • Proficiency in typical tooling like Figma and Miro for brainstorming, planning, and asset creation.

  • A data-driven mindset – You can track and measure the effectiveness of your initiatives and optimize for impact.

Interview Process:

  • Recruiter Interview: 30 minutes - Initial screening to assess alignment with the role, company, and core qualifications.

  • Hiring Manager Interview: 30 minutes - Deep dive into product marketing and problem-solving abilities.

  • Final Panel Interview: 2.5 hours - Comprehensive assessment of go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, messaging, and cross-functional collaboration.

Benefits & Perks:

Inclusive and healthy environments are crafted intentionally. All of our employees can join and participate in (or create your own!) Employee Resource Groups. Here are some other wonderful perks of working here:

  • Competitive Compensation & Stock Option Offering

  • Health, Dental, Vision & Disability Coverages

  • End early Fridays (wrap up work at 2pm CST on Fridays!)

  • Sabbatical program for tenured employees

  • Join a team that truly lives their values (outside of the office. Cliche, we know… but we really mean it)

The salary range for this position is $95,000-105,000 per year. The final salary amount will be determined based on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, internal equity, and insights gained throughout the interview process.

At The Zebra, we believe in a fair and transparent compensation philosophy that values both market competitiveness and internal equity.
