Who You Are

You are a passionate, results-driven product marketing leader with a flair for diving deep into data and translating that into strategic messaging that drives customer engagement. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where the intersection of market intelligence, analytics, and storytelling is at the heart of your work.

Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you’ll own key product areas in the physical security domain, taking full responsibility for crafting and delivering compelling narratives and high-quality go-to-market assets. You’ll create impactful messages that resonate deeply with our target audiences, and you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn insights into action.

You are an expert at leveraging analytics, customer feedback, and market trends to guide your decisions. But equally, you understand the power of a compelling narrative in driving customer adoption. You're adept at turning complex concepts into simple, engaging, and actionable stories that move markets.

You have a passion for working with cutting-edge technology, including AI, and you're eager to experiment with new ways of improving efficiency and delivering more value. Above all, you’re proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in an environment where you can make a tangible impact—rolling up your sleeves when necessary and driving change from the front.

If you are proactive, detail-oriented, and unafraid to roll up your sleeves to make a tangible impact, this role is for you

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Intelligence: Gather and analyze market research, competitive insights, dashboards, and customer feedback to shape product positioning, messaging, and strategy that drives adoption and demand
  • Positioning & Messaging: Develop and maintain a differentiated value proposition, messaging framework, and supporting assets & materials for your product area that cut through the noise and resonate with your target audience
  • Product Launches: Create and execute go-to-market strategies for product launches, including detailed launch plans, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure successful rollouts and sustained engagement
  • Enablement: Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to create and deliver playbooks, pitch decks, battle cards, case studies, and other materials that support customer conversations and sales efforts
  • Buyer Enablement: Develop targeted buyer personas, clear messaging, and collateral tailored to different audience segments and go-to-market channels
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Sales, and broader GTM teams to align strategies, share insights, and ensure smooth, high-quality execution of product initiatives across the organization
  • Training & Resources: Collaborate with Enablement teams to create and deliver training materials, FAQs, and tools that ensure Sales and Client Success teams can effectively communicate Ontic's value and drive customer success

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience, with 5+ years total in related roles preferred
  • Proven expertise in developing product messaging and positioning for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to break down complex concepts into simple, clear, and impactful narratives
  • Demonstrated success in planning and executing product launches and go-to-market strategies that have resulted in measurable impact
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with experience working across teams (Product, Sales, Marketing) to drive results
  • Data-Driven Mindset: A passion for analytics and data-driven decision-making. You excel at interpreting dashboards, market insights, and feedback to inform your strategy, and you’re ready to leverage data to drive success
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with AI technology and its potential to enhance marketing efficiency and delivery. Eagerness to experiment with new tools to create value for Ontic and its customers
  • Experience in security, risk management, or related industries is a plus
