Granicus is looking for a skilled Senior Product Manager to join our Operations Cloud product team. The desired candidate should be passionate about our platform’s ability to impact government efficiency, promote citizen engagement, and increase transparency. No company in the world reaches more people on behalf of public organizations as Granicus – and this individual will serve as both the internal and external evangelist for the solutions that make that happen. A good candidate will possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision as well as well as the drive and attention to detail that transforms vision into reality. 


Granicus has several agenda and meeting management product offerings that tailor to the unique needs of our government customers. We provide SAAS software solutions that allow our customers to manage meeting documents for over 100,000 meetings per year. Our customers depend on our solutions to provide efficient, reliable, and transparent access to both internal and external stakeholders.  


We’re looking for someone who realizes that success as a Senior Product Manager is all about relationships. You will work closely with other Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineers, Designers, Data Analysts, and the Leadership team to define the future of Granicus products. You are ultimately responsible for aligning the team behind the most important projects at any given time, with an eye toward driving growth in key metrics and constantly improving the user experience. Ideal candidates are entrepreneurial and analytical, able to combine concrete data with solid instincts to move the products forward every day.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage on the long-term product vision and translate that vision into tangible, actionable plans that are aligned with company goals. 
  • Lead and collaborate with stakeholders through the feature development process from research, design, execution, release, and maintenance. 
  • Engage with customers and cross-functional stakeholders through a variety of channels and serve as the internal voice of the customer. 
  • Prioritize product deliverables against competing high-value features, clearly understanding tradeoffs. 
  • Utilize data-driven insights to decide when, what, and how to deliver product features. 
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities. 
  • Proven ability to communicate, present, and sell your ideas to senior stakeholders and executives. 
  • Create and manage goals and KPI’s and track performance metrics to evaluate success. 
  • Bring a detailed eye for user experience and design to ensure high quality feature delivery and ensure user adoption. 
  • Foster a culture of feedback and continuous improvement. 
  • Mentor and guide junior team members. 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a product management role 
  • Success working in an agile environment 
  • High level of intellectual curiosity drives you to ask great questions and seek supporting data to interpret the most important needs of the product 
  • Excellent organizational, quantitative analytical, and project management skills 
  • Experience delivery high-quality technology products and services in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift rapidly 
  • Demonstrated success in working with cross-functional teams 
  • Excellent communication skills regardless of the audience 
  • Ability to break down the long-term vision down into specific, manageable deliverables that deliver user value as quickly as possible 
  • Ability to think strategically with the capacity to expand customer use cases into platform-wide requirements 
  • Define, analyze, and report on various product metrics from usage to profitability 
  • Monitor adoption, usage, and revenue impact of new services and features  
  • Experience working in Salesforce, JIRA, and Aha! Is desirable 

Potential base salary. Does not include bonus OR commission and benefits.

COMPENSATION RANGE: $130,000-$140,000 USD
