The Product Management team is focused on expanding the capabilities of our platform that will enable our quickly growing enterprise offering to meet a significant market opportunity. We serve the needs of our Enterprise partners to make their life insurance products accessible to as many customers as possible. We work closely with cross-functional teams within Bestow and externally with enterprise customers to understand the needs of the industry and how our platform needs to evolve.


ABOUT THE ROLE

We're searching for an experienced Senior Product Manager to drive how we underwrite life insurance policies and the tools underwriters use. The surface area is broad, including our underwriting rules engine, data from third-party vendor integrations, and the underwriter workbench.

Our ideal candidate is a creative, data-driven product leader who desires to work in a high-growth organization. Our underwriting capabilities are a key component of our platform, directly impacting applicants, agents, underwriters, and enterprise customers. 


This role reports to our Director of Product Management and is open to Remote (US) #LI-REMOTE

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL...

  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and underwriting teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance our underwriting platform.
  • Analyze risk, efficiency, eligibility, and operational impact to prioritize and solve critical problems strategically.
  • Dive deep into our underwriting engine's technical capabilities while enhancing the user experience of underwriting tools.
  • Navigate the complexities of underwriting rules, data, and regulations to build features that achieve ambitious business goals and delight customers.
  • Continuously iterate on platform features by getting feedback from users.
  • Demo for enterprise customers to show the benefits of our platform and get their feedback.

ABOUT YOU

  • 4+ years in a product management role
  • Experience working on an Enterprise SaaS platform
  • Experience working in insurance, fintech, or underwriting
  • Experience leading cross-functional customer-facing meetings
  • Excellent communication skills through verbal, written, and visual mediums
  • Ability to clearly communicate priorities and promote alignment across teams
  • Ability to lead cross-functionally through influence rather than authority
  • Ability to make data-informed decision making
  • A track record of delivering high-quality projects on time
  • Ability to convincingly communicate how platform features deliver business value
