The Opportunity 

We're seeking a passionate and technically capable Senior Product Manager to shape the future of Nexla's data integration platform. You'll be a key driver of our product strategy, collaborating with UX designers and engineers to translate complex data challenges into intuitive and powerful solutions. Responsibilities

Shape the Product Vision:

  • Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Nexla's data integration platform.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed product specifications and use cases.

Craft Exceptional User Experiences:

  • Develop a deep understanding of user needs and workflows related to data integration.
  • Collaborate with UX designers to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that address user pain points.
  • Define clear and concise requirements for UI components, API endpoints, and overall platform usability.
  • Gather and analyze user feedback to continuously improve the platform.

Drive Technical Innovation:

  • Possess a strong understanding of data integration technologies, including ETL, ELT, API management, data streaming, and real-time integration.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering throughout the development lifecycle, providing clear requirements and participating in technical discussions.
  • Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with the overall product roadmap.
  • Contribute to technical design decisions, leveraging your understanding of best practices and architectural patterns.

Lead with Influence:

  • Clearly communicate the product vision and strategy to cross-functional teams.
  • Build strong relationships and foster collaboration across the organization.
  • Present product updates and roadmaps to internal and external audiences.


Qualifications

To excel in this role, you'll need a strong blend of product management expertise, technical understanding, and user-centric design thinking. Here's what we're looking for:

  • Essential Qualifications:
    • 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with a focus on data integration, data-heavy SaaS platforms, or related technical fields.  
    • A proven ability to launch and manage successful software products, demonstrating a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends.  
    • Hands-on experience collaborating with UX designers to define and shape user experiences for complex technical products, including creating wireframes and mockups.  
    • Strong understanding of API design and development (REST, GraphQL).  
    • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.  
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.  


  • Desirable Qualifications:
    • Experience with data modeling and schema design, particularly in the context of data integration platforms.
    • Familiarity with data integration patterns (ETL, ELT, real-time) and related technologies.
    • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data integration services.
    • Solid grasp of UI/UX design principles, with a focus on data visualization and user workflows in data integration platforms.
    • Contributions to open-source projects or demonstrable technical side projects related to data integration.
    • Master's degree in a relevant field.

Compensation

Compensation for this role will be determined by overall skills, experience, and location. The salary range for a US based Senior Product Manager, Data Integration at Nexla is  $150,000 - $220,000 USD. The package will also include benefits such as Medical, Dental, and Vision, 401k, and flexible PTO.
