About the Company

Hi, we're Ondo Finance. Our mission is to provide institutional-grade, blockchain-enabled investment products and services. We have both a technology arm that develops decentralized finance technology, and an asset management arm that creates and manages tokenized funds. We were the first company to tokenize exposure to US Treasuries, and have since expanded into several other assets. We are also focused on incubating protocols that can support both tokenized real-world assets and traditional crypto.

Founded by folks from Goldman Sachs Digital Assets Team, we’re backed by some of the best investors in the world including Founders Fund, Coinbase Ventures, Pantera Capital, Tiger Global, and more. We are currently the leaders in the space in terms of AUM and are well capitalized to continue to grow the firm. We're fully remote, with team members across the U.S.

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Product Designer who will own the look and feel of existing Ondo products (ex. Onboarding Flow, Mint/Redeem experience for USDY & OUSG, Portfolio Experience, Bridge, Flux Finance) as well as future-facing projects (ex. trading tokenized stocks and ETFs on Ondo Global Markets). You should be familiar with onboarding and transaction UX in fintech as well as in web3, and feel comfortable with everything from in-product writing, working with user researchers and designing for a variety of audiences (ex. web3 degens, web2 retail users, institutions). You will play a central role in setting the vision and direction for Ondo's existing and future products, and ensuring that the design output aligns with the overall brand and business objectives. This role will report to the Product Design Lead.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of intuitive and sophisticated product experiences for a variety of types of Ondo users

• Partner closely with product, engineering, user research and ecosystem to help drive product strategy

• Facilitate the design of excellent end-to-end user journey (from idea, prototyping, testing to shipping)

• Maintain and build upon existing UI component libraries

• Help raise our quality bar through improving overall UX and taking leadership in processes like QA and design review.

• Be a web3 UX design subject matter expert - you should use web3 in your normal life

Requirements:

• 4-6+ years of full-time UX design experience shipping products to end users

• Based in PT, MT, CT, or ET time zones

• Strong visual design skills with desktop and mobile UI, color, iconography & layout

• Strong interaction design skills with prototyping experience

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to articulate goals and nuances of design to stakeholders and peers

• Experience working closely with Product, Engineering and other cross-functional teams to co-own product strategy and roadmap

• Strong ownership mentality and ability to execute in fast-paced, ambiguous circumstances

Nice to haves:

• 1+ years of full-time web3 product designer experience

• Hands-on experience with front-end development and technologies

What we offer:

• Competitive compensation including salary, future token rights, and/or equity (according to your preferences) — we're well-funded and believe that great talent deserves great compensation

• Full benefits (medical, vision, and dental) and flexible vacation policy (PTO)

• Small remote-first team across many countries — you'll be an early team member helping shape our vision, culture, and design practices

• A+ colleagues — our team includes alumni from: Goldman Sachs, Blackrock, Two Sigma, Bridgewater, SpaceX, AWS, Meta, Google, Pinterest, McKinsey, Circle, Uniswap, Phantom

• Best-in-class investors — we are proud to be backed by leading crypto experts and VCs, including Pantera Capital, Founders Fund and Coinbase Ventures
