Senior Product Designers at Mark43 lead strategically, integrate various systems, champion design ideation, simplify complex workflows by collaborating with stakeholders, advocate for users, and deliver impactful designs for direct users in law enforcement agencies. We’re looking to have senior designer with 7 + years of professional software product design experience, including deep and demonstrable expertise in managing their work autonomously.  

 

At Mark43, 

  • You will own 0-1 product design process by conducting research, designing solutions from insights, iterating based on data, and collaborating closely with product and engineering to deliver best in class product. 


  • You will collaborate with the customers and cross-functional teams to facilitate design thinking and innovation. 

 

  • You'll be leading mobile design solutions for law enforcement and first responders. Design focus will be on enhancing safety, improving efficiencies, and minimizing cognitive load through effective information design, intuitive visual designs, dynamic animations, and responsive feedback mechanisms. 

 

  • You will be designing across devices including desktop, tablet, and native mobile apps. Experience with responsive design, map interactions, & multimodality is nice to have.  

 

  • You will be proactively meeting with the design team for the feedback, product teams to plan the roadmap, and engineering for sprint meetings to drive the work forward. 

 

  • You have strong communication skills and have the ability to articulate design solutions with our customers and leadership teams, actively seeking feedback, and iterating quickly.  

 

  • You care deeply about product craftsmanship, proficient in Figma, and contribute to design systems and consistent pattern libraries. 

 

Must have  

  • 7+ yrs of professional product design experience  
  • 3+ years of designing complex enterprise SaaS product 
  • 3+ years designing and shipping native iOS and Android applications 
  • Experience leading qualitative and quantitative research 
  • Experience with end-to-end design deliverables  
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 

 

Nice to have  

  • Experience working in Law-enforcement software 
  • Experience co-designing with customers 
  • Experience designing for situational awareness features 
  • Excellent visual design and presentation skills
