Flodesk is one of the world’s fastest-growing email marketing companies, built to help creators sell online and design emails that people love to get. Our commitment to small business owners is to create simple and intuitive tools that help them grow, nurture, and monetize their email list.

We’re a remote-first company headquartered in San Francisco, California, with a team that reflects the diversity and creativity of the people we serve. Join our mission to level the playing field for small business owners through good design!

Join our Product Design team where you'll play a role in translating the wants and needs of members into product design features. Reporting to the Principal Product Designer, and working amongst a small team of Product Designers, this role will have the opportunity to collaborate with a US based Product team and a Vietnam based Developer team. While we are a remote-first organization, this role is based out of the EU and requires the ability to work within Western, Central, or Eastern European time zones. If you have an excellent visual eye, can think holistically about UI, and have a knack for beautiful, simple, clever solutions, we want to hear from you!

What you'll do:

  • Deliver simple, beautiful, and intelligent product experiences for the features our members need most
  • Think holistically: ensure consistency across each product surface experience (emails, forms, workflows, checkouts, and more)
  • Build our templates: translate static print-like designs into dynamic, editable templates that look good in various configurations and across devices
  • Contribute to the overall product and design direction of Flodesk
  • Maintain visual consistency with the Flodesk brand experience
  • Create flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals for the features being built
  • Collaborates with:
    • A Product team for each feature/initiative
    • A Design Systems Director for implementing our Grain design system
    • A Development team for smooth handoffs, QA, high-quality implementation, and iterative design
  • Help with hiring, and establishing a design culture within the company

What you bring:

  • Several years’ experience as a product designer in a design-forward SaaS company
  • Great visual eye and seek out references to inspire your work
  • Always looking for the simplest, most elegant and clever solutions
  • Comfortable collaborating with multiple teams across many time zones
  • Growth mindset. Here to learn and grow through continuous productive feedback.
  • Excellence over ego. This means searching for the best solution that serves our members’ needs. You want to get an A+ with our members, first and foremost, and seek their feedback to guide your work.
  • Bonus skills: Experience working with e-commerce/sales software

What we bring:

  • 71,500 EUR - 88,000 EUR
  • Remote work: we have people working from US, Europe, and Asia
  • Home-office setup: $1,200 + MacBook Pro and external monitor
  • Learning budget: $1,000 per year
  • Health insurance
  • Unlimited flexible time-off
  • A team that values diversity and inclusion with a leadership team that's 70% women; 85% underrepresented minorities
