  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (growth, contracts, finance, technical experts) to gather data, develop pricing strategies, and produce compelling, compliant proposals.
  • Develop pricing templates, narratives, internal rate sheets, and business cases for both services and products.
  • Support strategic pricing discussions and contribute to price-to-win (PTW) strategies.
  • Assist executive leadership in defining pricing strategies, including risk analysis and pricing adjustments for specialized skills and technology.
  • Analyze competitive pricing trends, assess cost proposals for compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements, and manage cost volume templates.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to understand competitors' pricing models and identify opportunities for competitive advantage.
  • Conduct peer reviews, color reviews, and pre-submittal reviews.
  • Support material and labor cost analysis for proposals and audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities in pricing and cost analysis processes.
  • Analyze and compile multiple data sources to inform pricing decisions and proposals.
  • Train and support employees on the use of pricing templates, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across all proposals.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience with pricing in the federal government environment, including knowledge of various contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF, CPIF, CPAF, IDIQ, GSA Schedules, etc.).
  • Proficiency in developing complex cost/price volumes for large government proposals.
  • Ability to develop dynamic pricing models and manage large data sets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with ERP systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong understanding of business, markets, and general economic principles.

Preferred Experience:

  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration (preferred)
  • Familiarity FAR, CAS, DCAA, DCMA, and government proposal compliance.
  • Experience with non-traditional contract vehicles, such as Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs), including their unique requirements and compliance considerations.
  • Experience with Deltek or Unanet ERP systems.
