About the team

The People Analytics team's mission is to champion a data-informed culture through frictionless analytics solutions – for the right people at the right time. We power better decisions by checking assumptions, testing hypotheses, and bringing data and analytics to address the most complex and nuanced questions about talent. Our efforts support the strategic goals and planning of various partner groups across our organization.

 About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior People Analyst to join our People Analytics team. Your skills will help bridge data-driven insights with our diverse initiatives, fostering informed decision-making and nurturing a progressive organizational evolution.

What you’ll be doing

  • Strategic Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor, collaborating with stakeholders to discern their needs and deliver expert guidance in technical, systemic, and statistical domains
  • Data Storytelling: Develop and maintain in-depth reports and dynamic visualizations that effectively communicate key findings, trends, and insights, driving actionable decisions
  • Analytical Excellence: Conduct rigorous statistical analyses on expansive datasets to extract significant patterns and insights that inform strategic initiatives
  • Collaborative Innovation: Work hand-in-hand with the data engineering team to craft and refine data models that enhance our analytical, reporting, and business intelligence processes
  • Empowerment through Data: Lead the charge in data democratization, equipping stakeholders with the tools and understanding to independently navigate and interpret data
  • Data Stewardship: Manage sensitive information with the highest level of integrity and confidentiality, ensuring data privacy and security
  • Continuous Learning: Keep a pulse on the latest advancements in people analytics, statistical modeling, and data visualization, integrating best practices into our methodologies

 We’re excited if you have

  • A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Psychology, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in analytical thinking
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in data analysis, with a proven track record of working with and interpreting complex datasets, including quality assurance, querying, summarizing, visualizing, and reporting
  • Expertise in People Analytics is required, including familiarity with people systems
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau is required, and experience with statistical analysis software like R or Python is a bonus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex and ambiguous data
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing and delivering analytical reports and presentations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
