The Role

As a Senior Operations Manager, you will design and own strategic initiatives to improve our student experience and oversee a growing team of student-experience professionals. You will build processes and systems to scale our operations 10x efficiently while achieving high student and partner company outcomes. 

What You’ll Do

  • Drive strategic initiatives to improve a large portion of the student journey from learning to job placement.

  • Design and implement experiments to improve student retention, learning, and placement outcomes, identifying opportunities for improved processes and automation at scale.

  • Optimize operations and metrics tracking for a growing team of student experience professionals, including coaches, instructors, and placement coordinators.

  • Own end-to-end projects, including revamping processes, scoping product features, and hiring student experience professionals.

  • Own and achieve the student success metrics, including learning outcomes, certification, placement, and satisfaction rates.

  • Work cross-functionally with our product, learning, and engineering teams to provide visibility into students’ and student experience professionals’ feedback to help inform their product roadmaps.

This job is for you if: 

  • You have 5+ years of consulting or business operations experience in a direct-to-consumer startup, preferably in an edtech or healthcare environment.

  • You are highly analytical, can optimize metrics, and successfully develop action plans to meet business goals.

  • You can own both strategy & execution

  • You can motivate a team to support a large number of students

  • You are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done successfully

  • You aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty

  • You learn quickly through experimentation

  • You thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

Bonus points if: 

  • You have an MBA

  • You worked at a startup

  • You have taught or coordinated online courses at scale

  • You worked in healthcare

Compensation

Base Salary: $140 - 180k

Equity: 0.04% - 0.06%
