About the Role
Ontra is seeking a Senior Marketing Operations Manager reporting to our Director, Marketing Operations, to join our rapidly growing company.
We’re looking for someone excited to streamline and scale campaign execution across multiple channels, optimize marketing automation workflows for maximum efficiency, strengthen data quality and reporting for insightful decision-making, and enhance cross-functional collaboration between marketing, sales, and external vendors.
If you are a strategic, detail-oriented Senior Marketing Operations Manager with deep expertise in marketing automation, particularly Marketo, and a knack for data-driven decision-making, we’d love to hear from you! You should excel in CRM and lead management, with strong knowledge of Salesforce, and be well-versed in compliance with global email regulations.
Your ability to optimize processes and manage projects efficiently will be crucial, as will your talent for collaborating across teams like demand generation, sales, and RevOps. With a commitment to clear and proactive communication, you should thrive in translating complex marketing operations into actionable strategies, while managing both internal stakeholders and external vendor relationships effectively.
What You’ll Do
- Campaign Execution Management: Oversee the setup, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring timelines are met and operations run smoothly.
- Automation Workflow Optimization: Improve efficiency and impact of campaigns by optimizing marketing automation workflows and processes.
- Data Quality and Reporting: Strengthen data quality and establish robust reporting systems to enhance decision-making capabilities within the team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster effective collaboration between marketing, sales, and external vendors to ensure cohesive campaign strategies and executions.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve unexpected issues in real-time to ensure minimal disruption in campaign performance and operations.
- Governance Compliance: Ensure all marketing activities adhere to global governance standards and best practices.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: 5+ years in marketing operations with experience optimizing campaign execution and automation.
- Marketo and Salesforce Proficiency: 2+ years of hands-on experience with Marketo and Salesforce.
- Lead Lifecycle Expertise: Proven ability in lead lifecycle management, including lead scoring, routing, and attribution.
- Data Management Skills: Strong skills in data management to ensure database hygiene, segmentation accuracy, and reporting integrity.
- Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of global compliance regulations, such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM, and best practices for email governance.
Pay Transparency
Ontra takes individual candidate location, experience, and skills into consideration when determining compensation. The base pay range is listed below. Additionally, all positions are eligible for unit-based equity grants.
Some positions may be eligible for additional compensation, such as commission or other variable compensation structures, which is not included in the below base pay range.

$120,000—$180,000 USD
