Position Summary:
Administering and performing required tasks for supporting the operation of the company's applications. Demonstrated experience with Informatica and SAS/DataFlux is a must.
Professional Experience/Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field required.

Five+ years’ related experience
-
Extensive experience administering Informatica PowerCenter, and SAS/DataFlux platforms
-
Expertise in installation, configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting of Informatica and SAS/DataFlux environments
-
Strong knowledge of ETL workflows, metadata management, and data integration best practices
-
Experience in performance optimization, automation, and upgrades of Informatica and SAS/DataFlux systems
-
Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux and Windows environments, scripting (Shell, Python) and SQL
-
Knowledge of cloud-based ETL solutions and experience migrating Informatica workloads to AWS, Azure
-
Ability to troubleshoot complex data integration issues and work closely with development and support teams
-
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Key Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

Repository maintenance
-
Schedule and maintain various scripts for Informatica maintenance like backups, update statistics for the Informatica repository, regular recycles and removal of old logs.

Informatica Server maintenance including trouble-shooting server issues and performance monitoring & tuning.
-
Ensure all production-ready scheduled processes are in place after monthly Windows Server updates
-
Set up right connections to the right environments.
-
Responsible for managing Informatica Services like the Repository Service and Integration Service.
-
Responsible for importing all sources and targets.
-
Extensively work with Repository Manager, Designer, Workflow Manager and Informatica Monitor.
-
Apply Informatica PowerCenter software installation/upgrades and hot-fixes
-
Maintain and support the servers the SAS application utilizes, including driver installation, software patch upgrades, and troubleshooting any issues reported from the user community.

Keeping the quarterly address updates from USPS up to date on the DataFlux side
-
Assisting users of SAS with integration of code between DEV/TST and production
-
Assisting users of DataFlux with integration of code with Informatica Mappings
-
Migrate code using various methods like folder copy, deployment groups and XML files.
-
Deployments to environments like TEST and PROD.
-
Support to the ETL team of 10-12 developers
-
Support the QA team of 4-6 testers
-
Communicate often with DBAs and Network team
-
Assist with design of mappings, sessions, mapplets, worklets and workflows.

Create and conduct formal internal training sessions for ETL developers
-
Install and configure client components on users desktops
-
Help conduct interviews for potentially new IT/ETL staff
-
Responsible for creating and maintaining various documents like Mapping/Session naming standards, Work assignments for reference and troubleshooting purposes

Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies across areas of organizational responsibility
Salary Range:
$98,000.00 - $152,000.00
PRA Group has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, specific working location and market position. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and PRA Group reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications and location of the selected candidate. In addition to base salary, PRA may offer additional benefits to include performance based bonus programs and/or equity programs depending on the position. PRA offers paid time off, medical, dental, vision, 401k match, life insurance, and other benefits to assist with the physical and mental wellbeing of our employees.
