We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Fund Accountant who will primarily be responsible for accounting, record keeping, financial reporting, and performance reporting for various private funds strategies.  The position will report to the Accounting Manager over these strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Manage and monitor record keeping and integrity of financial records; verify and maintain accurate accounting for the financial activity of various private funds
    • Account for investment activity across multiple types of investments
    • Liaise with administrators to ensure accurate financial records
    • Liaise with Crestline’s Investment Professionals concerning accounting and investment related matters
    • Prepare investor capital call and distribution calculations and review notices.
    • Understand limited partnership agreements
    • Liaise with external accounting firms for audit requests
    • Update promote calculations and fee calcs.
    • Perform analytical review of multiple fund’s NAVs.
    • Review quarterly and yearly financial statements. 

Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA license preferred
    • Minimum of 4 to 7 years of accounting experience, preferably with public accounting and/or investment management firm
    • Financial statement preparation experience a must
    • General knowledge and understanding of performance calculations
    • Skilled with Microsoft applications, especially Excel
