As a Senior Fraud Analyst in our Cyber Security Department, you will be responsible for identifying, investigating, and preventing fraudulent activities within our platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our fraud detection processes and ensure the integrity of our systems. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be vital in mitigating risks and protecting our customers.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Fraud Detection: Monitor and analyze transactions in real-time to identify suspicious activities and potential fraud.
  • Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations into flagged transactions, utilizing various tools and techniques to gather evidence.
  • Risk Assessment: Evaluate and assess potential fraud risks associated with new products, features, and processes.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on findings, trends, and patterns related to fraud incidents and present them to management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Cyber Security team, compliance, and product teams to implement effective fraud prevention strategies.
  • Policy Development: Assist in developing and updating fraud prevention policies and procedures to enhance the company's security posture.
  • Training: Provide training and support to other team members on fraud detection tools and best practices.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in cyber security, Finance, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify patterns.
  • Familiarity with fraud detection tools and technologies (e.g., machine learning algorithms, transaction monitoring systems).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of integrity and ethics.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, AML).


This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
