You will join a team developing state-of-the-art general-purpose robots designed to operate in human spaces and with human tools. It is designed to work alongside humans, mobilize to human spaces, and manipulate the world around it.

Sr Document Controls Specialist will closely work with the Document Controls Manager. This role will be responsible for setup and maintenance of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, Arena.


Responsibilities: 

  • Log, reproduce, distribute, store, retrieve, and update of electronic versions of documents such as Bills of Material, Procedures, Work Instructions, and templates in PLM system, Arena. Additionally responsible for the maintenance of the Quality Management System i.e. Arena for NCMRs, Deviations, CAPAs, System improvements, Work instructions, and all associated documents, as needed.
  • Responsible for controlling and maintaining the engineering change through change orders and documentation tracking process with emphasis on Bills of Material (BOM's), parts masters, specifications, drawings, and documentation to ensure appropriate changes are documented.
  • Supports QMS Management Reviews, taking minutes and tracking actions, if needed.
  • Ensure that document release packages are properly reviewed, updated, accurate, complete, and current and that all documents are maintained and controlled.
  • Develop new processes to support document and configuration control requirements.
  • Serve as the document control focal point for assigned customer projects.
  • Responsible for maintaining documents through the entire project lifecycle, from inception through to handover to Operations – ensuring that accurate information is distributed throughout the organization, on time, to the people who need it.
  • Liaising with project team members to ensure documents meet requirements.
  • Training document specialists and other employees on documents and processes.
  • Stay up to date on the latest industry trends.
  • Continuously demonstrate the principles of professional domain competency and governance.


Skills and Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in Information Management and Document Management experience in technology, medical device, or automotive industry
  • Strong Electronic Document Management System (Arena or Agile) experience
  • Extensive experience in structuring Bills of Material
  • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills, with experience of presenting to key stakeholder groups
  • Industry-specific technical knowledge, including understanding of industry terms, policies and processes
  • Ability to foresee risk, identify dependencies and managing them in advance
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
