About the role:
As Senior Director of Global Developer Sales you will be leading teams of technical architects & business professionals responsible for driving the strategy, adoption and revenue of Cloudflare's developer products. Your team will be the customer facing & internal specialist organization for everything developer platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Developer Platform Leadership: Work cross functionally to define & lead the vision for Cloudflare's Developer Platform business. As the leader of this team, you will drive outstanding performance across a specialized sales team while fostering cross-functional collaboration to maximize developer platform revenue.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various Cloudflare functions (Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Finance, and Recruiting) to maximize resources for the Developer Platform. Leverage feedback from customers and internal teams to drive product innovations and refine the strategic roadmap. Be the bridge to our current go-to-market teams.Growth Strategy: Jointly own the long-term growth strategy for Developer Platform. Identify new opportunities within industry verticals, business channels, and customer expansion. Continue to iterate our approach in this key area to maximize adoption and revenue growth.
- Team Leadership & Talent Development: Build and lead high-performing teams for Developer Solutions, driving recruitment, development, coaching, and performance management. Foster a diverse and inclusive culture that aligns with Cloudflare's core values.
Qualifications
- Expertise selling in Cloud Infrastructure, web technologies, software development, AI, and how to craft developer sales motions around these key areas. Strong ability to communicate complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Successful experience leading first and second line sales teams at a national or global level, with a track record of exceeding revenue targets.
- Demonstrated success in recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performing teams.
- Ability to drive organizational transformation, foster cultural change, and implement continuous improvements in high-growth environments.
- Deep experience in managing relationships within matrixed organizations and collaborating across multiple business units.
- Strong operational and analytical skills, with a passion for data-driven decision-making.
