What You’ll Do

As a UX/UI Designer at Freebird, you will:

  • Craft Exceptional User Experiences:
    • Design intuitive, customer-centric user flows and interfaces that delight users and drive performance.
    • Focus on removing friction points and ensuring a seamless end-to-end user journey.
  • Build and Maintain Design Systems:

    • Maintain a library of reusable components for rapid design and development cycles.
  • Collaborate Across Teams:
    • Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and development, to translate business goals into exceptional digital experiences.
    • Leverage customer feedback, user research, and data insights to inform design decisions.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends:
    • Stay current with eCommerce and DTC trends, tools, and best practices.
    • Bring innovative ideas and a "funnel hacking" mindset to the team.
Requirements

Experience in Shopify/DTC:

  • 3+ years of experience in UX/UI or digital product design, preferably in eCommerce, Shopify, or personal care brands/agencies.

Strong Design Skills:

  • Proficient in Figma, with a proven track record of building and maintaining scalable design systems.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, responsive design, and performance-focused design.

Experimentation and Data-Driven Thinking:

  • Familiarity with A/B testing tools (e.g., Optimizely, Google Optimize, VWO) and designing for testable hypotheses.
  • Ability to use data insights, heatmaps, and customer feedback to refine and optimize designs.

Customer-Centric Approach:

  • Passion for crafting user experiences that delight customers while achieving business goals.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to balance aesthetics with performance.

Funnel Hacking Mindset:

  • A creative thinker who can optimize funnels, landing pages, and user flows to drive acquisition and retention.
