Overview:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing and maintaining our infrastructure and systems to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security as we migrate to the cloud. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to deploy and operate our systems, automate and streamline our operations, and troubleshoot issues across environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure for our cloud-based applications.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing processes.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across the entire stack (network, servers, applications).

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure code deployment practices are optimal and efficient.

• Implement and maintain security best practices across all infrastructure components.

• Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and performance of infrastructure.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

• 5+ years' of proven experience in a DevOps role, preferably in a financial services or similarly regulated industry.

• Strong proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Golang).

• Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a team environment.
