We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team and take ownership of key accounting functions, including payroll processing. This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting background who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a growing organization.
You Will:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Process and reconcile payroll, accounts payable, and travel & entertainment reimbursements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and support audit and tax preparation efforts.
- Work cross-functionally with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related reporting and compliance.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting and payroll functions.
You’ll Have:
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Experience with payroll systems and general ledger software.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Experience with Sage Intacct, Concur, Tipalti preferred
