Position Overview:
As an SDR Caller at Apollo, you will play a crucial role in our outbound sales strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to engage prospects over the phone, with the goal of setting appointments that lead to successful sales outcomes. This role is highly specialized, focusing exclusively on phone outreach to maximize appointment setting efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Outbound Calling: Make an average of 100 outbound dials per day per client, managing three clients simultaneously.
  • Appointment Setting: Secure at least 13 appointments per month per client, with a focus on achieving a 70% hold rate for booked appointments.
  • Call Strategy Optimization: Work to increase the number of connected calls beyond a 6% connect rate by adjusting call times and targeting strategies.
  • Conversion Efficiency: Achieve a conversion rate of over 10% from connected calls to appointments booked.
  • Training and Development: Complete all assigned Apollo Dialer training modules within the first month and participate in at least two monthly coaching sessions with the Sales Development Manager.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage prospects and build rapport quickly.
  • Resilience and Adaptability: Ability to handle objections and rejections with a positive attitude and persistence.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and clients efficiently.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems and dialer technology is preferred.
  • Continuous Improvement: A proactive approach to learning and improving call strategies and techniques.

  • Morning Routine: Start your day by reviewing notes and statistics from the previous day, planning your call strategy, and engaging with your team via Slack.
  • Calling Sessions: Dedicate focused time blocks to making calls, logging call statistics, and refining your approach based on real-time feedback.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in daily meetings with fellow callers and managers to discuss strategies, share insights, and motivate each other.
  • End of Day: Log daily statistics, review call outcomes, and prepare for the next day’s activities.
