Tecovas is looking for a Sample Coordinator to play a vital role in ensuring the seamless management and distribution of samples across various teams, including PR, Merchandising, and Creative. Reporting directly to the Studio Manager, you will oversee all sample-related logistics while supporting the broader efforts of our marketing, product, and creative teams.

This role is required to be based in Austin, TX. Candidates must either be currently located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX.

What you’ll do:

  • Sample Management:
    • Establish Tecovas sample process for inbound samples, including supply chain approvals, merchandising approvals, and management of inventory at headquarters
    • Maintain the Tecovas sample closet, ensuring inventory is organized, cataloged, and up to date.
    • Track sample usage and coordinate check-ins/check-outs across internal teams and external partners.
    • Manage inbound and outbound sample shipments, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation.
    • Inventory lifecycle management, including developing processes for purging and donating samples at the end of useful life.
  • Cross Functional Support:
    • Partner with the PR team to fulfill sample requests for media, influencers, and events, ensuring the accuracy and quality of all shipments.
    • Support the Creative team by organizing samples for photoshoots, videos, and campaigns, maintaining clear records of availability and condition.
  • Operations & Coordination:
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive sample tracking system to improve efficiency and transparency.
    • Communicate with third-party logistics providers to manage sample shipping and receiving, as needed.
    • Provide ongoing reporting to teams regarding sample status, availability, and returns.
  • Collaboration & Process Improvement:
    • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline sample management and ensure alignment with Tecovas’ premium standards.
    • Act as the central point of contact for all sample-related inquiries, resolving conflicts in availability and prioritizing requests.

Experience we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in fashion, retail, marketing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in sample coordination, studio management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and inventory management tools
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Knowledge of or interest in Western wear and craftsmanship is a plus
