About the role

Passionate about network infrastructure? Your next role will ensure the networks we manage will exceed the expectations of our clients. We’re on the lookout for a knowledgeable and customer service-oriented Salesforce Developer.

We touch the lives of binge-watching, music-loving, game-playing, finals-taking, seminar-attending, class-selecting students by providing IT infrastructure that meets the needs of today’s technology-savvy generation.

We are looking for a Salesforce Developer who will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our Salesforce platform. In this role, you will ensure the seamless integration of Salesforce with other systems, develop customized solutions to enhance our business processes, and support future projects. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional user experiences and achieve our business goals.

This is a remote, work from home position. Candidates on Eastern and Central Time Zones will be given preference.

We are One Team and challenge everyone in our organization to be a problem solver. If you are as passionate as we are about the intersection of technology and education, join us today.

  • Provide end-user training and support to ensure effective use of Salesforce.

Customized Solutions Development:

  • Partner with Apogee leaders to develop business intelligence reporting and dashboards.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing leaders on development requests to address evolving business needs.

  • Confidently communicate and promote best practice development in discussions with stakeholders.

  • Support future projects, including Salesforce CPQ implementation.

  • Maintain technical documentation of CRM build and customizations.

Technical Skills:

  • Apex and Visualforce: Experience with Salesforce's proprietary programming languages for custom development.

  • Lightning Components: Proficiency in building and customizing Lightning components.

  • Data Management: Skills in data migration, data cleansing, and data quality management.

  • Integration Tools: Familiarity with integration tools like MuleSoft, Informatica, or Dell Boomi.

  • Salesforce Certifications: Certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder.

  • Security and Compliance: Knowledge of Salesforce security features and compliance requirements.

  • API Integration: Experience with REST/SOAP APIs for integrating Salesforce with other systems.

You'll love this job if:

  • You have a knack for analytical thinking and enjoy identifying areas for improvement.

  • Project management is your forte, and you excel at managing timelines and deliverables.

  • You possess strong communication skills and can interact effectively with stakeholders and team members.

  • Problem-solving is second nature to you, and you can troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

  • You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams.

What you’ll bring

  • Equivalent to 5-10 years of on-the-job experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud administration.

  • A degree is nice to have, but not required. We value relevant certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder.
