This exciting open position is for a Sales Manager of Vespel® & Molykote® in the current Electronic & Industrial business. The candidate will locate in Singapore.

Reporting to the Sales Leader of Molykote® & Vespel®, the candidate is tasked to execute strategic business plan to accelerate sales growths and outperform competitors in his areas of coverage: Vespel® (ASEAN/ANZ), and Molykote® (Indonesia & Philippines).

Vespel® Polyimide is an extremely high temperature, creep resistant plastic material that is often used in high heat environments where thermoplastic materials lose their mechanical properties. Vespel®, a lightweight alternative to metal, is available in a variety of formulations including unfilled grades and several low friction and wear grades.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the growth of Vespel® business in ASEAN and ANZ and and Molykote® (Indonesia & Philippines).
  • Be the focal point of contact for major customers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Constantly gather voices of market, identify opportunities, and develop strategic sales plan to win over competition,
  • Commit to deliver financial objectives,
  • Consolidate a strong portfolio of opportunities to fuel continuous sales growths,
  • Effective management of channel network and drive distributor performance,
  • Orchestrate promotional plan such as on-site focus seminars, webinars, and tradeshows, etc.
  • Support regional collaboration for transplant businesses,
  • Track and study competitor activities in the marketplace,
  • Monthly reporting of key performance matrices,
  • Compliance to company core values.

  • Knowledge of Vespel® products and applications will be an added advantage.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience in a Multinational organization,
  • Proven account and channel management,
  • A team worker, and able to work independently with minimum supervision,
  • Flexibility to travel (~ 30%),
  • Possess a valid driving license.
