About the Role:

We are seeking a Sales Enablement Manager – Public Sector to join our growing sales enablement team. This role will focus on equipping our Public Sector sales teams with the tools, knowledge, and training they need to succeed in the complex and highly regulated government sector. As a trusted partner, you’ll work cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing teams to design and implement sales enablement strategies that resonate with Public Sector customers, ensuring our teams are well-equipped to drive sales and build lasting relationships.
This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US except Alaska, Austin Metro, Boulder Metro, California, Chicago Metro, Connecticut, Dallas Metro, Denver Metro, Houston Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Seattle Metro. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this role.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Develop and deliver Public Sector-specific sales training programs: Create onboarding materials, ongoing skill development modules, and workshops to support sales team members in navigating government sales cycles and procurement processes.
  • Create impactful enablement content: Develop playbooks, case studies, battle cards, and presentations that equip sales teams with the right tools and messaging for engaging with government and public sector clients.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with product, sales, marketing, and other teams to align on Public Sector needs and ensure enablement materials are up-to-date with the latest industry trends, policies, and product developments.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support: Offer one-on-one coaching sessions and lead group workshops to help the sales team navigate the intricacies of the Public Sector sales landscape.
  • Track and measure program effectiveness: Evaluate the success of enablement programs through feedback and performance metrics, refining strategies to continually improve sales performance.

Minimum Requirements for the Role:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Public Sector sales, sales enablement, or a related field, with a strong understanding of government sales cycles, compliance, and procurement processes.
  • Proven experience in program management, including designing and implementing sales training and enablement programs.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills: Ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights and deliver engaging training sessions to groups of varying sizes.
  • Experience in stakeholder management: Ability to work cross-functionally with senior leaders, product teams, and sales leaders to create alignment and drive enablement initiatives forward.
  • Passionate about learning and coaching: Enthusiasm for mentoring sales professionals and creating opportunities for others to grow and succeed.

An Ideal Candidate Also Has:

  • Experience working with Public Sector clients, including federal, state, local government, or education sectors.
  • Familiarity with the challenges and regulations of government procurement, and the ability to create tailored sales strategies that address these complexities.
  • Comfort with public speaking and delivering presentations to diverse audiences, including senior stakeholders and large groups.
  • A proactive mindset, with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward with minimal oversight.
  • Experience using sales enablement tools and platforms (e.g., CRM systems, LMS, content management tools) to track and deliver training and content.


The range of annual base salary for full-time employees for this position is below. Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including your city of residence, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$89,845$120,800 USD
