Job Description SummaryWe are excited to announce we are hiring for a dynamic Sales Director to join our 'Software as a Solution' (SaaS) business segment. In this role, you'll lead our efforts in winning new business, managing accounts, influence our commercial priorities and support with executing commercial arrangements.
We're looking for someone with a strong background in sales, a strategic thinker with a well-rounded commercial acumen and a proven track record in the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth for GE Aerospace’s SaaS solutions.  
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with airlines, MROs, OEMs, and other aviation industry players.  
  • Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting to closing high-value enterprise deals.  
  • Build and maintain C-level relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.  
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to align customer needs with GE’s software offerings
  • Drive customer success and retention, ensuring long-term partnerships and expansion opportunities.  
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in aviation software.  
  • Manage sales forecasting, pipeline development, and revenue targets.  
  • Represent GE Aerospace at industry conferences, events, and customer meetings. 
  • Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers.
  • Takes new perspective on existing solutions.
  • Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
  • Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in enterprise software sales, preferably in aviation, aerospace, or industrial SaaS.  
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a high-growth environment.  
  • Strong understanding of aviation operations, data analytics, and digital transformation.  
  • Experience in complex, multi-million-dollar enterprise sales cycles.  
  • Ability to engage with senior executives and technical stakeholders.  
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.  
  • Experience working with CRM tools (Salesforce, etc.).
