The Sales Team Team: 
We are actively interviewing for immediate full-time openings as a Sales Development Representative (SDR). A competitive compensation plan includes paid training, base pay, monthly bonus opportunity, and a high level of opportunity for growth and future advancement. We are looking for a candidate with potential to grow within the company, and we commit from day one to delivering hands-on professional sales training where you learn the core skills needed to be a successful salesperson long term.

A day in the life of an Inception Sales Development Representative (SDR) includes: 

  • Come learn and grow your SaaS Sales career with a group of motivated and driven professionals that want to see you succeed. 
  • Make outbound calls and establish contact with healthcare professionals to introduce Inception. Explore with them how our software can drive practice growth. 
  • Schedule qualified appointments for Account Executives to qualify prospects and begin the sales journey with healthcare providers and other professionals. 
  • Ongoing training - continuously learn about general business and professional sales, SaaS technology, sales psychology, and more. We believe in the constant pursuit of knowledge and skill development.

Areas of Accountability:

  • Qualifying Leads: The SDR should assess the potential of leads by gauging the interest level and the fit of dental offices for Inception offerings. This includes understanding the size of the practice, current software solutions in use, and their readiness to invest in new technology. 
  • Pipeline Management: SDRs must maintain an organized pipeline, with detailed records of calls, emails, and follow-ups. This involves updating the customer relationship management (CRM) system regularly to reflect the status of each potential account accurately. 
  • Product Knowledge: Staying up-to-date with the latest features and updates of the Inception software is crucial. The SDR should be able to address queries related to product functionality and articulate the value proposition effectively to the leads. 
  • Meeting and Targets Achievement: SDRs are accountable for achieving or exceeding set targets for calls made, demos scheduled, and opportunities generated.  
  • Collaboration and Strategy Refinement: SDRs are responsible for working closely with the Sales Development Manager to refine prospecting strategies. This includes evaluating the effectiveness of different outreach methods, discussing potential improvements, and implementing new tactics to enhance the engagement and conversion rates with dental offices. 


Competencies for Success:

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills  
  • Effective prospecting and qualification ability 
  • Sales experience in software or a related industry preferred (not required) 
  • Time management skills and ability to operate in a time-sensitive sales environment 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite  
  • CRM experience preferred (not required) 
  • You're not afraid to fail, and you're always looking for ways to improve 
  • You are passionate about growing both personally and professionally 
  • Committed to a high standard of integrity and work ethic 
  • You are curious about people and possess the innate ability to inspire passion in others 


At PracticeTek we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine our offers of employment. This includes internal and external market factors as well as your individual experience and skills. These considerations can cause compensation to vary but we reasonably expect to pay between $34,250-$75,000 for this position.

*SALARY RANGE INFORMATION:

  • We offer a competitive total rewards package, including a strong base salary, benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO) and uncapped monthly commission.   
  • Base Salary: $35,000.00 with a $35,000.00 variable
