We built Luma Health because we are all patients. We believe it should be easy to see and connect with our doctor. To get the care we need, when we need it.

So, we’ve created solutions to fix this problem. Our technology makes messaging easier, scheduling appointments more efficient, and it modernizes care delivery from beginning to end.

Job Position - Sales Development Representative

We're seeking driven individuals to join our Sales Development team at Luma Health. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you'll play a crucial role in identifying and generating qualified outbound leads to support our sales efforts. Responsibilities:

  • Identify and create qualified outbound leads within an assigned territory: Cold call and schedule meetings with decision makers from health systems.
  • Manage time effectively to consistently hit activity metrics: Your effort will be graded based on volume and outcome of emails, phone, and LinkedIn messages sent. Volume AND quality matter. We work closely with the marketing team to run specific marketing campaigns. You will be required to take a list of priorities and manage your time effectively according to those priorities.
  • ‘Know your territory: have a deep understanding of the health systems within your territory, the problems they face, and the language they use to describe those problems. Plan and execute a strategy to build a relationship with every single account in your territory.

Who YOU Are

  • Strong written and verbal communication, project management, and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, work independently, and remain motivated in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eager to build a career in SaaS sales.
  • High tolerance for getting told “no”.
  • Demonstrated work ethic, competitiveness, ambition, curiosity, and grit.

What sets YOU Apart

  • Background in healthcare
  • Fearlessness in cold calling and prospecting.
  • Skill in converting cold leads to qualified deals.
  • Proficiency in prospecting through various channels and maintaining Salesforce data.
  • Ability to strategize with Account Executives to build pipeline and close deals
  • Want to stand out? Give our recruiter, Elise, a cold call after you apply: 925-459-4628

We Take Care Of You!

  • Work Life Balance
  • Flexible Time Off
  • Wellness Programs
  • Discounted Perks
  • 401(k) and Company Equity

At Luma Health, we value inclusivity. If you're passionate about the role but lack some qualifications, we still welcome your application. We've seen success stories from teachers, recruiters, chiropractors, fresh graduates, and nurses who excelled in their new SDR role. ("Personally, I began as an SDR with no prior experience, working as a hospital phlebotomist. Through perseverance and dedication to growth, I succeeded!")

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time sales offers from Luma also include target bonus + stock options + benefits (including medical, dental, and vision.)

Base Pay Range: $50,000—$55,000 USD + up to 24,000 in commissions
