About You

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Obviously AI, you're not just an employee but a key player in our dynamic team. Your role involves driving new meetings through personalized outreach, collaborating with the Head of Sales, and exploring leads via research and social media. Actively participating in experiments to identify potential markets and Ideal Customer Profiles, you'll also develop a high-level understanding of the AI and machine learning space. Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for booking new meetings with potential customers via personalized outreach
  • Coordinate with our sales leaders for questions and clarifications prospects need before committing to a meeting
  • Discover new leads through internet research and social media monitoring/messaging, using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Partake in experiments coordinated with the Head of Sales to determine potential new markets and ICPs
  • Develop a high level understanding of the AI and machine learning space
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in an outbound sales environment (previous b2b tech SaaS SDR experience preferred)
  • 1+ years of work experience in a fast-paced environment (ideally at an early stage startup)
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and identify potential Obviously AI solutions to fulfill requirements
  • Motivation to learn and work hard in a sales role in a quickly evolving startup environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. You should be a great writer, speaker, and listener.
  • Strong interest in understanding cutting-edge technologies like Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
