SourceDay, voted a best workplace by Built In Austin in 2022, is the industry leading cloud-based software solution that automates the purchase order management process for manufacturing and distribution companies to manage their direct spend.
We are looking to add a rockstar to our Business Development Team. This position will closely align with the outside sales team to target new accounts, prospecting and identifying qualified opportunities. This is a hybrid role that will require you to be in office 3 days per week and WFH 2 days per week. The right candidate has had successful experience within competitive environments. Our business development team has a history of (uncapped) success that we are looking to grow upon.

Responsibilities
- Create target prospects lists and penetrate key accounts into our A/B tier accounts
- Follow-up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects
- Profile strategic accounts identifying key individuals, researching and obtaining business requirements and presenting solutions to start the sales cycle
- Set appointments for sales team when a lead reaches a qualified stage
- Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approach
- Ensure successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM application
- Opportunity to be a future growth role into Sales within the company
Qualifications
- Successful experience in a highly competitive environment (sales, business development, or another highly competitive environment)
- An ideal candidate will have previous success in an outbound sales development motion
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence
- Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic
- High level of integrity and strong commitment to building a successful company
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Adept computer skills
- Experience with SalesForce, Outreach & LinkedIn preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required
