This is an exciting role for an individual who is early in their sales career and hungry to learn and grow in fast-paced, collaborative environment.

As a first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying and working leads through the top of the sales funnel. You will collaborate closely with marketing to nurture inbound leads, leverage the latest tools and techniques for outbound prospecting and help develop qualified leads into opportunities. Excellent candidates have strong communication skills and excel at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up closers for success.



Responsibilities

·      Engage and qualify inbound leads from marketing programs.

·      Refine the marketing-to-sales handoff process, efficiently converting Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Accepted Leads (SALs).

·      Work collaboratively with marketing to develop prospect lists and use digital tools to research and connect with contacts at target accounts.

·      Use outbound prospecting tools to increase lead volume and velocity in target accounts.

·      Schedule discovery calls to understand and evaluate prospects’ use cases and technical requirements.

·      Work collaboratively with colleagues in Sales and Marketing to nurture leads into opportunities.

·      Maintain a standard metric of outreach and networking via email, phone, and social media each day.

·      Expand job knowledge and skill set to remain current with products and positioning through ongoing training.

·      Professionally represent Zero Networks by communicating positively and effectively with internal resources and external prospects.

·      Maintain accurate records and regularly perform data hygiene in the company’s CRM (Salesforce) and Cadencing (Salesloft) tools.

·      Interested in cybersecurity products and trends

 



Requirements

·      Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or at least 3 years of relevant work experience.

·      Track record of exceeding lead targets.

·      Very strong communication skills via phone and email.

·      Strong desire and ability to move up within the sales organization.

·      Strong prospecting skills into ICP accounts and eexperience interacting with executive-level buyers

·      Active listener and quick builder of product knowledge

·      Excellent time management

·      Proficiency with Salesforce and Salesloft preferable
