Role: Sales Development Representative (E-Commerce)

Function: Sales

Responsibility: Lead Gen and Qualification | Inbound Sales Management | Outbound Sales | Pipeline Management

Reports to: Head of Sales

Location: Remote

Salary: £1000 - £2000 Per Month Contractor B2B Payment

In H2 ‘24 we’ve been making changes to our organisational structure, recruitment processes, and sales funnels to unlock the next stage of growth. 

As a Sales Development Representative, you will report directly to our Head of Sales, playing a crucial role in driving our business growth. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with prospective clients, and ensuring our sales pipeline remains robust.
Your efforts will help brands achieve their goals and scale to new heights, all while upholding our core values of extreme ownership, quality, happiness, and profit.

Requirements

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Outreach: Identify and engage potential clients through outbound efforts, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach.
  • Lead Qualification: Assess and qualify leads to ensure they align with our target market and have the potential to benefit from our solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies and improve lead conversion rates.
  • Data Utilisation: Use analytical tools to track and report on outreach performance, continuously optimising approaches based on data insights.

Success in 6 months:

  • Have a proven performance consistently. 
  • Pushing management/leadership. Questioning the way we do things and bringing new ideas to the table on a weekly basis
  • The Head of Sales is overheard saying to the COO, “The new Sales Member is smashing it, we’d never have been able to take on this calibre of client without them…”

Success in 12 months:

  • Have an immaculate track record in driving results from our prospective lists. At this point, you’ll probably have 50% deal involvement of all deals closed
  • Be in a position where you’ve unlocked the opportunity for a whale-sized client 
  • Have played a key role in implementing new processes or technologies within the Sales department 
  • You will have progressed your skillset and started to learn the art of closing and are on the way to becoming an Account Executive

Success in 24 months:

  • You will have made a name for yourself in the e-commerce industry
  • Have implemented a handful of new processes or technologies that have forever changed the way we do things
  • You will have made a huge impact in the upskilling the new members to the sales team

Requirements

  • have exceptional attention to detail;
  • confident in building long-term relationships with your client base;
  • are able to self-manage and prioritise tasks efficiently;

Experience & skills:

  • You need at least 6 months of experience in an outbound sales environment
  • Previous agency experience is ideal
  • Having your own side hustle or experience in the E-Commerce world, would be advantageous
  • You are career driven wanted to join a fast growing company that can help you grow with an entrepreneurial skillset
