As a Product Owner within the Commercial and Investment (CIB) Wholesale Credit Risk Product Team, you will play a significant role in leading transformational efforts within the Risk Management and Compliance sector. You will leverage your expertise in product management and data mining to solve business problems. You will lead efforts to meet or exceed strategic objectives, which involves setting clear goals and ensuring that the team is aligned with the broader vision of the organization.
Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the product life cycle for the Credit Authority Roadmap which includes the transformation of Credit Authorities, Credit Coverage, Credit Responsibility Units, Annual Data Certifications, and Credit Flags
  • Lead the discovery and analysis of key data elements through data mining that inform the design of the features and capabilities
  • Drive demand management through prioritization and listening to credit and operations feedback
  • Challenge existing operating models with Credit and Support teams to improve service level agreements
  • Leverage structured problem-solving and design thinking to address top strategic priorities
  • Syndicate innovative solutions to transform the business model and product offering
  • Work closely with technology partners and other product teams; this collaboration is crucial to ensure that the development of underlying components aligns with user needs and delivers the greatest value
  • Ensure that the most valuable features and components are prioritized in the development process; this involves understanding user needs, market trends, and business objectives to make informed decisions about what to focus on
  • Ensure that the platform meets users' needs, which involves gathering and analyzing user feedback, conducting market research and continuously iterating on the product to enhance user satisfaction
  • Support multiple project work streams


Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • MS or BS degree in an analytical field (e.g. Statistics, Economics, Applied Math, Operations Research, Physics, and Data Science) or business degree/MBA with an extensive track record as a analytics practitioner
  • 5+ years of industry experience in either strategy, finance, business analytics or other quantitative roles (e.g., marketing analytics, sales analytics, risk analytics, business insights)
  • Diverse background in credit and data analytics
  • Strong execution and delivery of EPICS and Stories
  • Proven track record in the Agility Methodology both related to execution and delivery
  • Experience navigating complex, matrix organizations responsible for supporting multiple key stakeholder
  • Proven track record executing across complex environments
  • Ability to think strategically, synthesize insights and deliver results through a consultative approach and leadership skills across a global organization
  • Ability to build strong partnerships across a matrixed environment
  • Possess a natural curiosity to uncover root causes and explore solutions


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Advanced skills in Excel e.g. Macros, VBA, formulas
  • Strong knowledge of Python, Alteryx and SharePoint preferred
  • Solid understand of Credit, Risk and Finance processes
