About this role
We are looking for an energetic people leader that wants to join our expanding Large Enterprise Sales team in a fast growing business and is passionate about coaching and developing successful salespeople.
This role will give you the opportunity to hire and shape a fantastic growing team in our Large Enterprise segment, focusing on companies of 5k - 10K employees in size. To be successful, you should pride yourself as a people leader first, but have a strong, process-oriented style as well as a positive attitude which you use to influence those around you.
What you’ll be doing

Manage a team of Large Enterprise Account Executives focused on new business sales across the East Territory (companies with 5k- 10K employees)

Demonstrate your passion for coaching and developing employees through personal and professional mentorship

Communicate job expectations with team members by planning, monitoring, and appraising individual sales results

Accurately forecast new sales pipelines along with add-on bookings
-
Help refine processes for the Large Enteprise Sales team from onboarding forward
-
Focus on innovation of current best practices to serve the needs of the team and business as it grows

Work cross-functionally with Sales/Business Development, Customer Success, Marketing, Partnerships and Content to drive the business forward

Collaborate with sales operations to identify technology, strategies, and processes to better achieve revenue goalsLead a sales-driven culture in a high energy, fun, fast-paced environment
What you’ll have

While this work is based more on the skills a person has than what they have done, we think a typical profile could include the following:

5-7 years of sales management experience, preferably in similar segment

Experience with SaaS/subscription based sales model

Collaborative mindset, with strong organizational and time management skills

Proven track record of quota attainment both as an individual contributor and manager

A love for hiring, developing, motivating, and retaining highly valued sales reps

Exceptional skills in prospecting, discovery, presentation, buying behaviors, and overcoming objections
At Udemy, we strive to be transparent around compensation. Actual compensation for this role is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, and specific work location due to differences in the cost of labor. In addition to a base salary, this role is also eligible for benefits, equity and uncapped OTE.
OTE Compensation Range
$288,000—$360,000 USD
