Role Summary:

As a Senior QA Tester at Founders Workshop, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our innovative software products. This position requires a meticulous and analytical approach to testing, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to excellence. You will work closely with development teams to identify, report, and troubleshoot defects, ensuring that all aspects of our software meet rigorous quality standards.

What You'll Do:

  • Comprehensive Testing: Design and execute detailed test plans and test cases, covering functional, regression, and exploratory testing. Provide accurate time estimates for each type of testing.
  • Static Testing and Design Review: Collaborate closely with designers and product managers/owners to review workflows in Figma. Identify areas where designs can improve or are missing critical details, ensuring designs are development-ready.
  • Work with Requirements: Work with clearly defined requirements or take the lead in creating them as needed. Apply analytical skills to identify gaps and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Partner with developers, designers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve defects. Contribute to improving overall team workflows.
  • Quality Assurance Best Practices: Leverage industry standards, including ISTQB-aligned processes and documentation, to ensure decisions and testing methodologies are consistent and robust.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in team discussions to refine testing processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose innovative solutions.

Who You Are:

  •  3-5 years of experience in quality control testing with web, mobile, and API applications.
  • 1-2 years of experience in writing requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira, and AIO).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Experience with Agile methodology is an advantage.
  • Bonus points if you have worked in a startup or owned your own business
  • Experienced QA Professional: Bring a solid background in software testing with a strong understanding of QA methodologies and tools.
  • Adaptable: Quick to adapt to new technologies and changing project requirements, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Reliable Communicator: Clear, proactive communication ensuring all stakeholders are well-informed and engaged. You're meticulous in your approach, consistently exceeding stakeholder expectations.
  • Detail-Oriented: Your attention to detail ensures that no defect is overlooked and quality standards are maintained.
