This role will be based onsite at our Headquarters in Austin, TX.

Position Overview:

Atlas Energy Solutions is seeking a Purchase Order Analyst to ensure accuracy in purchase orders (POs), financial coding, and procurement processes. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and collaboration with procurement, finance, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate purchase orders for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
  • Assign appropriate cost and account codes to ensure proper financial tracking.
  • Accurately enter PO data into financial and procurement systems.
  • Maintain organized records of purchase orders and related documentation.
  • Work closely with purchasing, finance, and other departments to resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure POs align with vendor invoices and approved budgets.
  • Generate and track PO reports for audits and management review.
  • Monitor compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; degree in Business, Accounting, or related field
  • Experience in purchasing, accounts payable, or procurement is a plus.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and financial systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel); experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a bonus.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Experience with ERP software and data management.
  • Strong time management and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Some travel required to plant facilities (quarterly/as needed).
