Position Overview
We’re seeking a proven and exceptional Product Manager to lead a product within our Tolling business unit and play a critical role in enabling seamless, compliant travel for the world’s largest rental car and fleet operators. In this role, you’ll own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for key tolling solutions—translating customer insights, market trends, and operational data into scalable, high-impact products. You’ll be the voice of the customer internally, driving cross-functional alignment across engineering, operations, and client teams to deliver solutions that reduce friction, improve compliance, and drive growth. This is a highly visible, business-critical role that requires strong strategic thinking, a bias for action, and comfort with complexity. You’ll work closely with senior leaders across Commercial Services and will play a key role in shaping how Verra Mobility continues to lead in smart mobility solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Shape Product Strategy: Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and business needs to inform a compelling product vision and multi-quarter roadmap. Lead customer discovery and market research to proactively shape our understanding.
- Prioritize for ROI: Use data, customer insights, and business cases to prioritize product features and initiatives that deliver measurable outcomes while balancing investment needs.
- ·Drive Execution Excellence: Translate strategy into an iterative product roadmap with clear scope and requirements informed by customer and business needs. Apply structured delivery methods (e.g., Agile) in collaboration with engineering and cross-functional partners, and guide execution to ensure timely delivery of high-quality scalable solutions.
- Drive Commercial Success: Develop sales enablement material (e.g., competitive assessments, customer communication) in partnership with Sales and Marketing to highlight clear product positioning and value propositions, as well as ensure commercial readiness for launches.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Build strong partnerships with Engineering, Sales, Operations, Finance, and Customer Success to align priorities and drive business outcomes.
- Optimize for Results: Define and track success metrics to assess product performance, identify improvement opportunities, and proactively drive continuous improvement .
- Solve for the Business: Take accountability for resolving blockers—technical, resourcing, or organizational—to keep product initiatives on track and drive results.
- Communicate with Clarity: Regularly share product roadmaps, priorities, and results with stakeholders to maintain alignment and transparency.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required in business or engineering; MBA or other relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management within a B2B, BPO, or technology company. Experience in the automotive or fleet industries, emerging automotive technologies, or the Tolling market is preferred.
- Proven experience leading customer-facing product lines in B2B environments, with a strong track record of delivering solutions that drive measurable customer and business impact.
- Demonstrated ability to lead market research and translate customer needs and market dynamics into scalable product strategies and roadmaps.
- Strong quantitative business acumen, with excellent problem-solving, critical thinking skills.
- Strong communicator with exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills; able to influence across functions and levels.
- Experience managing execution across cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, sales, and finance.
- Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards.
- Willingness to travel as needed (10–30%).
