Q2 is seeking an experienced Product Manager who will be responsible for developing and managing the roadmap for an industry-changing fintech platform. You will be working at a company whose mission is to build strong and diverse communities by strengthening their financial intuitions.
In this position, you will be responsible for managing several of Q2's account opening and onboarding product solutions. You will be expected to chart a strategy that meets business objectives in a flexible, collaborative, and rapidly changing environment. It requires a highly motivated and focused individual capable of communicating, establishing credibility, and driving high-performing product solutions. Additionally, you will evolve custom customer solutions into scalable products that meet the needs of diverse customer base.

In addition, you take a client-centric approach to product management and have demonstrated results, driving rapid modifications and initial concepts to new and existing products. Although you will work in the Product group , you will also continually work with, build, and influence cross-departmental workgroups with your outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
A Typical Day:

  • Responsible for defining and driving the product strategy for our a ccount opening and o nboarding product solutions to help our customers deepen relationships with the ir users and provide a n engaging experience to them.


  • You will collaborate with other Product Managers to ensure the Products align with the company strategy


  • Includes h andling p roducts in all phases of the ir lif e cycle , making sure the right strategies are in place for w hat phase your products are in .


  • Assist in managing existing vendor relationships and aligning forward roadmaps and initiatives


  • Ensure US banking regulatory and compliance requirements are built into extension products


  • Scope, plan, and execute work across multiple Q2 engineer and product teams .


  • Proactively identify opportunities for new trends /features/products


  • Create product business cases utilizing research, industry expertise , and financial knowledge


  • Assess risk of value, feasibility, and usability as key factors to product success


  • Communicate value and vision effectively-being confident with presentation skills and establishing credibility with an audience


  • Engage with clients and prospects through Success and Sales teams as needed to present and discuss roadmap and strategy


  • Build effective relationships with others in Product, Sales, and Marketing


  • Champion end-user experience by actively seek to integrate human interaction best practices and best in class front end design into each feature you build


  • Work with the Release Management team to develop and deliver release documentation and training materials for internal groups on key functional aspects of products under your ownership

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.


  • Candidate must h ave Financial Service/Banking or Fintech experience - experience with account opening and/or onboarding is a plus


  • Technical background is a plus


  • Experience working in an Agile setting


  • Experience with all phases of the p roduct l ife c ycle


  • Previous experience working in customer facing roles


  • Relevant experience in evolving custom solution to scalable products


  • Strong ability to work in a cross functional environment, driving teams to work together


  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills


  • Strong teamwork, organization, and problem resolution skills


  • Excel and data analysis skills


  • Self-starter with ability to delivery on results
