Responsibilities:

  • Under the leadership of a Director of Product Management, the product manager will contribute to the core accounting functions of our platform, including general ledger management, Fx functions, revenue recognition, and related financial reporting.
  • Engage regularly with customers and prospects to understand their revenue management and accounting challenges and identify unmet customer needs and market opportunities using an outside-in approach
  • Work with internal stakeholders to define product requirements and communicate them to the development team, using an inside-out approach to achieve business goals and meet customer needs in the billing space
  • Collaborate with the Engineering and Design teams to develop and prioritize product features and enhancements for accounting-related products
  • Assist in developing and executing product launch plans for accounting products, including sales enablement materials
  • Monitor the product's performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize its success
Requirements
  • 4-year college degree in accounting or finance is strongly preferred
  • Preferred: 2+ years of product management experience, specifically in revenue recognition, accounting, or a related field.
  • Well-versed in accounting principles, especially AR management and revenue recognition
  • Hands-on experience with accounting & billing systems
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience leading or designing business processes for an accounting team.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive product decisions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to identify new opportunities for the product
  • Self-driven and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 - 150,000 including a 10% bonus potential based on both company and individual performance. Salary information is provided per state regulations in CA, CO, CT, MD, NV, NY, RI, and WA.
